STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS:

ACT University Acceptance Award

The ACT University Acceptance Award provides a $1,000 scholarship to a qualified CJUHSD student who has been accepted to a four-year college or university and plans to continue their education at that institution. This award recognizes students who have demonstrated academic commitment, perseverance, and readiness for the challenges of higher education.

(Recommended minimum GPA: 3.5)

Bill Pitts STEM Scholarship

The Bill Pitts Scholarship Fund provides a $1,000 scholarship to a qualified CJUHSD student who plans to pursue a career in a vocational or STEM-related field and has been accepted into a community college, technical program, or other approved training pathway. This award supports students who are preparing for careers in high-demand, skill-based, and innovative industries. 
(Recommended minimum GPA: 3.0)

ACT Award for Minorities

The ACT Award for Minority Students provides a $1,000 scholarship to a qualified CJUHSD student from an underrepresented ethnic background who has been accepted to a four-year college or university and intends to continue their education at that institution. This award honors students whose educational journeys reflect resilience, cultural pride, and a commitment to academic achievement. 
(Recommended minimum GPA: 3.0)

TEACHER SCHOLARSHIPS:

The Mary Ellen Hill Scholarship

The Mary Ellen Hill Scholarship is a $1,000 award designed to support CJUHSD teachers who are committed to serving students with disabilities and expanding their expertise in special education. This scholarship is available to teachers who are currently enrolled, or who plan to enroll, in an approved special education master’s degree or credential program. Applicants must be members of the Associated Chaffey Teachers (ACT); membership will be verified by ACT.
