John Rhinehart

Elected to the Chaffey Joint Union High School Board of Trustees on November 6, 2018. Mr. Rhinehart has a Bachelor’s Degree from West Texas A&M, Master’s Degree in History from the University of Texas, Austin and Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from California State University San Bernardino.

After a 19 year career in the media business John began a career in Education. Mr. Rhinehart was a dedicated educator for 20 years, serving as a high school teacher in the Chaffey Joint Union High School District, an adjunct instructor at local community colleges, as well as an Assistant Principal in the Chaffey District.

Mr. Rhinehart has been involved in a variety of community organizations, including the United Way, the Upland Cable Television Advisory Committee and the Chino Chamber of Commerce. He is a life-long advocate for public education.

Mr. Rhinehart’s wife, Leslie, is a school teacher in the Chaffey District. They have five children (two teachers, a city planner, an art director, and a community volunteer) and three grandchildren.
